Are there ways to differentiate assignments beyond due dates and availability dates?
I need to differentiate content for students with IEPs, LEPs, and WEPs per federal laws and mandates.

HI @jennifer_garwoo I love the potential within Canvas to differentiate.
The first things that come to mind are being able to assign items to individuals, small groups or the whole class. here are some guides for that:
As an instructor you can allow students to resubmit if needed:
You can also create different types of assignments according to need:
Here are a few articles that may be helpful also.

Thank you for sharing some ideas!
Unfortunately, due to syncing with our SIS, I am not given the option to create course sections. While I could assign to groups, that only works for group projects where I want students working together.
The only way I am seeing to have two versions of an assignment is to type in every student's name- either in the original assignment or the modified assignment. This is extremely tedious, especially when you cannot select more than one student name at a time. I would need to click the arrow, click a name, and repeat over 50 times for every assignment.
If the groups were changed so that I could assign individual assignments to students within each group, I would easily be able to differentiate for my students daily. As it stands, it's too cumbersome to plan on doing on any kind of regular basis.
Jennifer, this may be an imperfect workaround, but if I did not have the power to make sections to differentiate, yet wanted to give just Johnny and Maria a different assignment from the general one, this is what I'd do:
Of course, one downside is that I'd have to tell Johnny & Maria that they have a different version & to please ignore the exempted one. There's no way I know to make this differentiation invisible and seamless without sections, alas. But, happily, even though they can SEE the exempted assignment, they cannot accidentally turn it in.
I have in fact done this to differentiate WITHIN a section, when I needed to serve out something a LITTLE different for Johnny and Maria only.
