Will New Quizzes have the feature to create and submit a video or audio recording?

I teach younger students that are required to submit drawings or to verbalize their answers. These students do not have the ability to record a video on their Chromebooks, save it, then import that video into New Quizzes. They have been able to record themselves in the old quiz version.

Thank you for contacting Canvas Support. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with students unable to record media directly into a New Quiz question. We understand the need for this, but currently New Quizzes does not have this feature to record media directly into the Rich Content Editor or integrated apps such as Studio or Kaltura. We know this causes an inconvenience and is a minor drawback for New Quizzes at the moment. 

We would recommend that you use Classic Quizzes for this feature as we do still have that functionality. Alternately, you could keep New Quizzes and split it into two parts - the latter being an assignment solely for the purpose of recording media directly instead of uploading as we currently only have in New Quizzes.

We appreciate your patience while we work to make one comprehensive quiz tool for all with features just like this in the near future. Thank you!

Will you ever put the studio into New Quizzes? My teachers do not want to switch over to New Quizzed because of this feature.

Has this been resolved yet? If not, how do I get classic quizzes as I do not see itr as an option.
