Last year we used Respondus as our lockdown browser. Several teachers created Quizzes that require Respondus. This year, we no longer use it and the teacher's quizzes are still requiring it. Is there a way to remove the requirement since we no longer have Respondus without the teachers having to recreate their tests?
Solved! Go to Solution.
We did find that if we migrate to New Quizzes it dropped the requirement!
We have the same question.
Hi!
The good news is your Quizzes were created in Canvas, so they wont go away.
If you are no longer using Respondus, I would ask your Canvas Admin to "delete the Respondus LTI" for your institution.
Manually, If you are still seeing the Respondus in your navigation menu, you can easily go into that tab and "uncheck" the box that asks you to pair it within each test/quiz. You should see all the quizzes in that list.
That was the problem. The Respondus LTI is gone, so the students cant take the quizzes because it requires it. We just figured out if we migrate to new quizzes it works!
