The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December. Read our blog post for more info about this change.
Hello @summer_ploegman , and welcome to the Community. I'm really sorry that your group won't be using Canvas. I LOVE it, personally. When I left my system where I was using Canvas to go to another system, I put all of my pages on a word doc (if I thought it was important.) I then exported my quizzes into a QTI file (after printing them); all files, pictures, documents, videos and QTI files that I had made, I put on an external jump drive. (This gave me quite a bit of storage space.) If your system has a cloud, you could put your material there.
Best of luck!
Hi Summer - After finishing the copies, you could also export the course package in its entirety, that way, if you ever find yourself back with Canvas or using Free for Teacher, you can open up your course just as it is, without having to rebuild it. (How do I export a Canvas course?)
