School paid version not set up yet. Can we transfer from the free version is we use it as a sandbox?
We need to build our courses during the summer. Our school district is not quite ready to put us in yet. Can we use the free version as a sandbox and transfer what we have to our district's paid version when they have it ready for us?

@bonniew Welcome to the Canvas Community!
Yes, you can definitely build out your course content in a Free For Teachers (FFT) course, then export the course and import it into your district course shell. What a great idea!

Also, teachers can accomplish a great deal in FFT courses, but keep in mind that some features that you'll see in your district courses won't be available in your FFT course (Canvas Account Comparisons PDF). Once you've imported the course content into your live district course, you can enhance the content and enable additional functionality as needed.
