[ARCHIVED] Self-enrollment question

I'm evaluating Canvas to see if it meets my needs.  I am creating a community education resource and not working in a classroom environment.  My questions:

1. Can self-enrollment be used for anyone to enroll in the class without me giving them a secret url or somehow requiring admin interaction? I want people to be able to follow a public link to enroll by just providing a little basic information but with no need for any contact with me.

2. Does Canvas have a way (or is there another way) to create a paywall, requiring students to pay before entering a course?

3. Can I require users to create a user name and password and provide some basic information like zip code, age, etc that I can later view and export?
