How do I send an announcement just to one individual?

@Boris1956 hello, and welcome to the Community! As you can tell from these directions (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-add-an-announcement-in-a-course/ta-p/11...) the announcements go to everyone enrolled in a course. I'd recommend sending a message in the inbox (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-use-the-Inbox-as-an-instructor/ta-p/628) for an individual student; you can even make it a video message (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-attach-a-media-comment-to-a-message-as-...)
