I've built a quiz which has become too big and would like to split it into two quizzes. Is there an easy way to copy the content of the quiz in the same course?
Solved! Go to Solution.
What I was able to do is copy the quiz and delete one half of the answers in the first copy and the other half in other other copy. If you go into the quiz their should be a button with three dots on it, in the tab it opens up it will have an option to "copy to".

This does not work, as it says when you click "Copy To..." that making a duplicate of the same thing will overwrite the original. When you make changes to one, it ends up making changes to both.
I think this USED to work in Canvas, but no longer does.
@cgingrich ...
One possible work-around...which isn't ideal, but should work...would be to copy the quiz to a sandbox course that you may have access to (if not, you could ask your school's local Canvas admin to create one for you). Then, once the quiz has been copied to your sandbox course, change the name of the quiz and also edit it the way you want. Then, copy that re-named quiz from your sandbox course back to the original course. Again, a bit of a work-around, but it might meet your needs. Hope this helps!
