Hi all,
I came across a strange behavior from some content on Canvas and was wondering if anyone have seen this.
based on this release notes, https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Releases/Canvas-Release-Notes-2019-01-05/ta-p/243691#:~:text=canv...
All file uploads are uploaded to this new url *canvas-user-content.com/*
Somehow some of our users were able to link contents hosted there directly to their Canvas content page, what was interesting is that these content was not accessible to the students or Administrators.
The fix is easy, simply have them update the src to the ones hosted directly within the system instead. However, I am wondering if any of you have seen this before?
I want to know more about this URL and how users may get this.
Also, if this were to happen again, is there a way to tell who uploaded the files?
Thanks,
Sc.
