Is there a way to disable student rights to add a discussion at a building level?

Hi Teresa, if you have resources at your school that know how to use the API there's an endpoint available to update that course setting. Here's the info from our API documentation: Canvas LMS REST API Documentation.
Hey fallingt, I am not sure what you mean by "building level" but you can disable students ability to start their own discussions at a course level. See this guide for more information: How do I allow students to start a new Discussion?
We figured out how to disable one specific course, but not the school as a whole. Surely we don't have to touch each course???
