We are working through what the best practice is for our student planners. In the past we had always purchased planners and distributed them to students. After we switched to iPads, we digitized a pdf planner for them, but now we are wanting to update this again. We really like the calendar function of Canvas and enjoy the fact that it automatically populates all the students' calendars. This is convenient for the student and their parents, but we are concerned that we are no longer teaching a fundamental skill of learning management. How is your school doing planners? Have you noticed any advantage one way vs. the other?
