The Instructure Community will enter a read-only state on November 22, 2025 as we prepare to migrate to our new Community platform in early December. Read our blog post for more info about this change.
Permissions for file use appear to have changed very recently. Some of my files, regardless of how I mark them, are not being made available to students to download.
The material meets criteria for fair use, I've tried marking it as "Publish" and as "Only available to students with link," and I've tried deleting the file and re-uploading it.
How do I fix this?
