[ARCHIVED] Student submissions doubling on iPad app

I love grading on the Canvas app.  It has been super easy, up until now.  Now, for some reason, each of my student submissions is showing twice in my app.  One will usually say they have no submission, but if I go to their files, I can see it.  I've been entering the grade on both, and it syncs with the gradebook like it's supposed to, but it's annoying for each submission to show up twice?  Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it?

I have not heard of this issue. What kind of assignment are students submitting? Is it a file upload, text, etc.? My suggestion would be to contact your local tech support to research and create a Canvas support ticket. I'll keep an eye out for any solutions in the meantime.

I just had a teacher report the same thing happening to her when trying to grade PDF submissions on the iPad.  It shows one page with their work and a second blank page...anyone out there have any idea why this would suddenly be happening?

My tech person suggested uninstalling and reinstalling the app, which I did this morning, but I haven't had any submissions since then so I don't know if it worked.

Canvas Teacher 1.12.1 was just released with a possible fix for this issue. Can you see if this fixes this issue?

Well, so I thought it fixed it, and it kind of did.  Now, only some of the submissions are doubling instead of almost all of them.  It still doesn't seem to be just one type of submission.  I've had text entries, Google docs, and picture submissions double, but not all of any of these.
