[ARCHIVED] Student who accepted invitation is still pending and cannot access conference

I have invited a new student and they have accepted the invitation. Their status still says "pending" and they cannot access the course's conference. Is there a normal delay or is there a problem? What should I do?

Greetings! Normally if the student has accepted the invitation, they should be able to access the course. If the student is still having this issue, I'd have them log into Canvas and look at the top of the page (dashboard) and see if the course is showing up at the very top of the screen (almost like a banner) letting them know they've been invited to your course. If this is there, then they need to accept. If it's not, then you can try resending the invitation and see if that helps. 

If none of that seems to work, then have the student submit a Help ticket for Canvas Support (click on the Help link and "Report a Problem.").
