I made and assignment with a link to Google Slides. There, I made sure that it said "make a copy for each student". Only a couple of my students were able to access that slide deck and the rest were taken to this screen that takes them nowhere. It is the same thing I see in student view. Why don't the slides appear for them or for me in student view?
