Why are students assignments that have been completed showing up blank when submitted to CANVAS? These are google docs. Same name as I have them named on CANVAS.
I have the same issue. It actually creates a copy that is blank in Google Drive. It seems if a student finishes the document in one sitting without closing there computer or logging out of their computer, they are fine. This is not a solution, just an observation. I would like to know if I am on the right track and if Canvas has a solution.
I have the same issue.
Students submit the integrated google doc after the due date, but it is turned in blank.
I have verified that they have done the work on the doc, but none of the answers show up in the attachment in Canvas.
We have seen this issue occur, but the Google Doc is not in fact BLANK, but white text upon a white background- when we consulted with the students and looked at their iPad settings for their applications- we discovered what they all had in common was that they had their iPads and Google settings set to "Dark Mode" and all original Google Docs were in fact a black document background with white text ontop. When submitted to Canvas directly from the application, the document was submitted as a white background document with white font- definitely a glitch in coding for sure!
