About two weeks ago we started to become aware of this issue with the Canvas Student app, which started after a recent App update. Teachers and students discovered that Home Pages were not loading on the Canvas Student App.
In consulting with Canvas, the issue was caused by a caching of data from a previous update, which did not clear when updating to the newest version of the app. One option, which takes many steps, was to clear the cache on the App -- but that requires several steps, and some users reported that the problem returned after a short time.
The other option is to delete and re-add the app.
