I have set up an Excel assignment for submission through the Office 365 Cloud external tool.
My students can get the document through the link. In fact when they click the link it takes them right to the excel document.
The students never see a page with the buttons "Open" "Submit".
So they can get the document. complete the assignment, but they can't submit it to me.
Help please!
My students are starting to email their files to me which is exactly what I wanted to avoid in the first place.
To the best of my knowledge and belief I have followed these instructions:
How do I create a cloud assignment with a Microsoft Office 365 file?
How do I submit a cloud assignment with Microsoft Office 365?
Edit: My "View Assignment" doesn't have anything like what it shows in the above documents.
If I set it to view the assignment on the same page, all is get is my assignment details and the excel document in a mini window.
If I set it to open in a new tab, the new tab opens the excel document.
Neither page has an "Open" button or a "Submit" button.
Bump!
I really need the Office 365 Cloud tool to work! 37 views and counting ....
Please, if you have any insight at all pass along your help!
Wow, not one reply even from the moderators!
I'm still having issues with Office 365 LTI as you will see from the new post I am about to make.
I am having this exact same problem. Really disappointed there's no solution here!
I am having a different problem. Students submit the office 365 Cloud assignment but nothing appears in SpeedGrader.
I am having a similar issue. My Word Doc cloud assignments work fine. I have a PowerPoint cloud assignment that also works. Then I have another PowerPoint Cloud assignment that works in teacher view, but the students can't load the file.
