[ARCHIVED] Turnitin LTI - New Feature Request

Can you add a feature where using the LTI via Canvas, instructors might upload student papers for the student? Sometimes for a variety of reasons, students have problems using the LTI, so they e-mail the paper to me (via Canvas, of course!!) as an attachment. Instead of being able to go to the Canvas assignment page and directly upload the paper from there to TII, I have to log in separately to my Turnitin account and then go to the course there and upload. It sure would save time!!

 @gary-sokolow ​, great idea! In fact, this feature idea - - is already under consideration by Canvas. My recommendation is to vote and comment on why it would be so helpful. Also, in the future, if you'd like to suggest a new feature in Canvas you'd want to post it in the Canvas Feature Ideas​ area of the Community.

The link that @kona provided was when the Community was using a different platform.  In August 2020, the Instructure moved to a new Community platform, and some links did not re-direct properly.  You stumbled upon one of those links.  If you want to create a new Feature Idea, you can do so from within any page here in the Community using the menu system at the top of the screen.  Simply choose “Roadmap”, and then under “Idea Conversations”, select “Canvas”.  You’ll find a button on the page to suggest a new idea.  It will also allow you to search for existing Feature Ideas so that you are not duplicating something that someone has already submitted.
