I've created user groups in order for teachers to create conferences (BigBlueButton) with groups of students that are in different classes. This creates a group for those students to access in the Global Navigation Bar. When they enter that group, even when not a leader, they have the capability to create discussions and announcements, upload files, etc. Fortunately, only the leader can create a conference.
Is there a way to disable some of those tools or the ability for students/non-leaders to access them?
