[ARCHIVED] Want to revert to Classic quiz but can't

Hello,

I have been importing quizzes/exams from a previous semester into my current semester which I then edit or update rather than starting from scratch. So far I have imported 2 exams but when I went to import the 3rd it showed up differently and after some digging I can see it is a 'New' Quiz rather than classic. I was perfectly happy with Classic quiz but wasn't able to go back to it. I went back to my previous semester's Canvas course and found that *all* the exams have now been changed to 'New' quizzes and can't be altered to Classic, so no matter what I do I will be importing New quizzes. Is there a way around this?

Greetings! It sounds like your school might have made a change on the back-end of your Canvas environment. My recommendation is to reach out to the Canvas Admins at your school and see if they can help you figure out what happened and what your options are.

Do you still have the option to create a classic quiz in your new course? (If you are not prompted, you may need to reset your quiz engine choice. See attached image)
