[ARCHIVED] What are Class Nicknames and how do you create them?

In the class listview there is a column titled "Nicknames"  - how do you create these? We were hoping to use as an additional listview sort.

Depending on your role at your school, here are a couple Guides that detail what course Nicknames are and how to use them:
