When designing my page I used the Design launch tools to create buttons. Has it moved or been embedded somewhere else?

Heather,
The person who originally set up the Launch tools for Pasco Schools has left the district. This is a third part tool for Canvas that she set up and we have not been able to find what is causing the Launch button to disappear. All code was updated last week and this did not resolve the issue. I have passed on the options for having it hosted but the initial reaction was it was to costly. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. If you need more info contact Anthony Tretolo at Pasco.
@hcrouche , if Design Tools is enabled in your school's account and in your course, you should see a Multi Tool LTI link in the left hand navigation of the course. If it's not there, check Settings for the course and enable the navigation link on the course menu. In addition, the Content Editor Tools are accessible through a rocket that appears at the upper right of the page; when you hover on the rocket, you'll see a slide-out that reads "Launch Design Tools." Last, the Upload/Crop/Embed Image LTI tool is in the RCE tool bar.
If you're not seeing any of what I've just described, I recommend that you check with your Canvas Admins to get an update on the status of their Design Tools installation. And my responses all refer to CIDI Labs' product; if I've misunderstood your question entirely, please post back with additional details. ![]()
@hcrouche , I am going to guess that your institution is using the open source version of Design Tools and whoever is maintaining it at your institution has not updated the code for awhile. They will need to visit the GitHub page (GitHub - CIDI/kennethware-2.0: Tools to facilitate rapid course development in Instructure Canvas.) and bring their code up to date.
As an alternative, Cidi Labs does offer an updated, SaaS hosted version that does not require keeping an eye on the GitHub page for updates based on changes within Canvas.
