@jmm1497 , first I'd double-check to see that you are following the steps outlined on this guide - How do I upload a file as an Assignment submission in Canvas? If you are, then then next question is what Internet browser are you using? If you are using Internet Explorer/Edge then you would definitely want to switch over to Firefox or Chrome. If you aren't using Internet Explorer/Edge, but another browser, it's still a good idea to try switching Internet browsers and seeing if that helps fix the problem. The next thing you can try is uploading the assignment from a different computer.
