[ARCHIVED] Why does Canvas not recognize an updated quiz?

When building a test/quiz in Canvas, why does it continually refer to the older version and not the updated version?

I hear Canvas has memory issues and will not always recognized the updated version especially if you build the quiz over a period of days.   This seems to occur when the quiz/tests contain png's or other images.

Can you give me some understanding as to why this is occurring.

We also had a similar issue related to direct sharing of a quiz among instructors.  Any tips would be appreciated
