I am an instructor. I have found that when I load a You Tube video that has auto generated closed captioning that the video will not play any closed captioning once inserted on Canvas. Is there a way to enable the auto generated closed captioning on the Canvas site?

Hi again, @aparadies Thank You for sending us an e-mail to our LMS account. As I indicated to you in my reply, I had put your YouTube videos into Canvas Studio, and then I embedded those videos into your course. Unfortunately, the captions from YouTube videos do not carry over into Studio ... mainly for legal reasons / "Terms of Service". I also provided you with a link to an informational page we have for our faculty and adjuncts that includes questions about YouTube and captioning. Hoping that this information will be of help to you. Thanks!
