my daughter's classes are not showing....multiple attempts to reach support. she did use system over the summer and classes showed up in advance. so far the day has been a waste.

We're sorry to hear that your daughter is experiencing difficulty accessing her courses. By "not showing," do you mean that the courses do not display in the Courses > All Courses list, or that the Dashboard is blinking or otherwise preventing the courses from being visible?
If it's the former—that is, if when she clicks on the Courses button in the global navigation and selects All Courses, she does not see her current classes, you will need to contact the district directly to sort out the enrollments.
If it's the latter, i.e. a blinking or obscured dashboard, it might be an issue with an out-of-date browser, so compare the version of the browser being used to access Canvas with those listed in What are the browser and computer requirements for Canvas? , and if hers is older, update to the latest version as appropriate.
