How could I know when updates are made on the platform because sometimes it does not allow me to enter the conferences because an update is being made on the platform?

Hi Ariel,

It's rare that Canvas does maintenance which would cause the system to not be usable.  Typically they do email the Admin's for each school if there will be any type of maintenance and it's up to the school to notify end users.  The Canvas release notes page also has good information about when updates are happening to Canvas so you might also check them out at https://community.canvaslms.com/community/answers/releases/release-notes-canvas
