how do you copy an assignment from one class to another?

Hello There are a few different ways to accomplish this  @Chris_Hofer ‌ answered this questions very well for another user.  Here is his response:

Copy assignments from course to course 

You can also throw it in Commons and then bring it into the other course.  I prefer Chris's method unless I need to add it to multiple other courses, then the commons import is nice as you are able to select all the course to add it to at one time.
