When you are signed in to your Canvas account, click on your Account icon on the left-hand global navigation menu, and then select Settings from the slide-out menu. On the right-hand side of your screen...under Ways to Contact, you should see your e-mail address listed there. By chance, is there an exclamation point (!) icon next to your e-mail address? [It would look something like the screenshot displayed under the Edit Settings heading within this Guide: How do I change the settings in my user account as... - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)]. You may need to reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator. If you see that exclamation point, and you are sure that the e-mail address displayed in your Canvas account is correct, your Canvas admin should be able to contact their assigned Customer Success Manager team at Instructure (the folks that make Canvas) to have that exclamation point removed. (I've had that happen to a few students at our school...so I know this can be taken care of by the folks at Instructure.)
