I'm not sure that you are in the right place.  What code are you referring to?  It sounds like you might want to post this question in your course or reach out to your instructor directly?  This is the Canvas Community website where people from all over the globe come to ask questions, submit Feature Ideas, collaborate with others, review "how to" Guides, etc. ... all about Canvas.  I'd recommend that you contact your instructor about this...thanks!  How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
