Hi Jane -

You can adjust your notification settings fairly easily. This lesson is a great place to start: How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as an instructor?‌ If you have the Canvas Teacher app installed, you can also adjust your push notifications (alerts) separately from the notifications that go to email. I like it because you're able to get the information where and when you need it.
