[ARCHIVED] page update notifications

I was not aware, until this evening, that every time I update a Canvas page, it is sent to any student who has checked that off in their Notifications.  Can I block some updates going to students if I am still editing the page?

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with removing  notifications page updates. Unfortunately, there isn't a way as a teacher to disable the students from getting notifications about pages you've updated if they choose to get notifications regarding that. We let all users regardless of role choose what and how often they want to be notified of. We understand not wanting to inform students when you make minute changes. You can try unpublishing the page, making the adjustments, and then re-publishing as they shouldn't get notifications for things that are not visible to them. Hopefully this helps!
