[ARCHIVED] putting an active quiz into assignments?

I created a quiz in the quizzes section, but because I've never used quizzes before, I wasn't thinking about the fact that it didn't appear in the "Assignments" section I'd created prior to online courses.

I see now how I can create a quiz within assignments, but I don't see (other than adding a link in a generic assignment post) a way to go back in and adjust so the assignments category automatically takes students to the quiz function.

No big deal, I know--but it's sloppy and I'd like to fix it. But the quiz is already open for business. I don't want to cut off students who may be in the process of taking it.
