I have a quiz that when we had done a preview it worked fine. Now when you click on the quiz it shows the preview being perfect but when i try to preview again or try to go to the quiz question edit mode all the media recordings are broken. How can i quickly remedy the situation. what happened? I need quick help on this the instructor needs to open the test tomorrow.

No it does not look like the image attached.
The instructor is frustrated that it was perfectly fine when we set it up and few students took the quiz and we have a preview of it sitting in the quiz as well but then it had stopped working. I have tested different browsers and There are many questions and we are trying to avoid rerecording…

It looks like you have a similar question - record edit media - that just got a response, so you might want to check that as well.
Hey vartouhi.asherian, I wonder if you are expecting to be able to listen or edit the recordings after you have created them. You can only play the recordings outside of edit mode, like when you are previewing the quiz. When you are in edit mode you can't play the media recordings. Also, you can't edit the recordings after they have been created, if you need to make any changes you must rerecord.
but even preview nor the student view is showing or playing the recordings. UHHHHH....
When you are editing your quiz question with the recorded media does it look similar to the image below, or do you see something different? Also, have you tried re-recording the media to see if that resolves the issue?

It sounds like the best way to help get this resolved is to submit this to Canvas Support. If you're not sure how to do this then go to where the problem is occurring (the specific quiz) and then click the Help link (top right) and "Report a Problem."
We are giving the Canvas Admins area a little bit of love (especially questions that are really, really old) and just want to check in with you. This will also bring this question new attention.
Were you able to find an answer to your question? I am going to go ahead and mark this question as answered because there hasn't been any more activity in a while so I assume that you have the information that you need. If you still have a question about this or if you have information that you would like to share with the community, by all means, please do come back and leave a comment. Also, if this question has been answered by one of the previous replies, please feel free to mark that answer as correct.
