[ARCHIVED] quiz log timestamps not accurate?

From a Quiz Log I see:
Started at Thu Jul 29 2021 12:00:00 GMT-0400
16:10 Answered question:#1So the student answered the question at 12:16:10. Right?
I recorded the quiz (video) and the timestamp on the video, for the mouse click, was 12:16:30,
so it looks like Canvas is off by 20 seconds.
I looked at her other Quiz answers, and same thing, a delta of 20 seconds.
What is weirder is for ANOTHER student, their delta was consistently 35 seconds!
Any ideas what I"m seeing? Are the quiz log timestamps trustworty? If not, what are they measuring and what is their purpose?
