[ARCHIVED] submission_comment_participant dim and fact

In the v1.17.2 schema docs, the descriptions for submission_comment_participant_dim and submission_comment_participant_fact both say

[Deprecated] This table is based on a table in the canvas application that no longer exists. It will be deprecated in the next major release of Canvas Data.

However, I see many new records in both tables each day. If the canvas application functionality no longer exists, how are records getting into those two tables?
