Hi,  @hc498  Welcome to the Canvas Community! When a course isn't published, it's usually either because the instructor is still working on it or the school has set a future date for releasing course materials to students. Your best course of action would be to contact the instructor directly to get confirmation of this, and the quickest way to do that is to send them a direct message through the Canvas inbox (How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student?‌).
