About Softchalk

We are looking for content/eLearning authoring tools. I find Softchalk as part of the external Apps in Canvas. Who has been using Softschalk? What's your experience on it? Would you recommend it to others? Thanks!

Softchalk 's LTI integration does not import default grades with the new gradebook.  Grades have be manually put in. 

The Canvas mobile app does not open the Softchalk LTI, with the external tool button.  So content will not be available to mobile users.  Last year we began our integration of Articulate to better support our students.  This is a much cheaper alternative.  In addition, we will also start using CourseArc effective this summer.

Can you share how CourseArc has been working for you? Did you find any major issues with use and implementation? We looking at this product now and seeing if it is a viable replacement for Softchalk. Any info you can share would be great.
