How do I add the "next" tab to my pages

Hello there,  @rberglas ...

"Previous" and "Next" buttons will show up on content pages of your course once you add them to your modules.  Then, as students progress from one item to the next in your modules, they can do so via those buttons instead of returning to the "Modules" index page each time.

Thank you. I didn't realize the Next and Previous buttons appear automatically once you specify the students need to complete all the assignments in a module sequentially. However, my question was about how to you set up a signup list in Canvas, where I supply a list of people. Then I want them to choose one of the names to research so they can see which names have not been claimed. I did it by creating an Excel spreadsheet with the names, then copying and pasting it into a new Page in Canvas, then setting it up so that the students as well as the teacher can edit the page.

I'm a bit confused by this because your original question in this discussion topic was, "How do I add the 'next' tab to my pages", and that is what I helped to answer.  But, regarding your new question, I did a bit of searching here in the Community, and I found this topic for you...which may be of interest: How to create a signup sheet for students to pick a topic?.  It looks like there have been several people chiming in with ideas, so you might want to take a look at that one to see if any of those might work for your needs, too.
