I've noticed that when using the webcam capture that I really shouldn't be touching the mouse at all. If I were to use the mouse and click someplace on the screen the webcam capture interface is then interrupted and disappears.
Is that what others are seeing as well? Any opinions on this? I seem to recall someone pointing out a pause button would be good here. For me I am thinking it would be improved by requiring the user to select finish or the X in the corner. Merely clicking with the mouse elsewhere isn't something I would expect to stop the recording.
Here I am bench marking to see if others agree or if there are related ideas. Thanks for reading.
Yup...I can replicate this behavior. As soon as I click anywhere outside of the window that displays the video, it disappears. My laptop camera doesn't turn off right away, so I have had to visit a different page in Canvas to make the blue light next to the camera turn off.
