Assignment Override via Canvas API

I am having trouble doing an assignment override via the Canvas API.

Here's the resulting JSON and response code:

First, I want to apologize for your question sitting in the community for so long without a response.

Second, it looks like you have stumped the Canvas Community.  Were you able to find an answer to your question? I am going to go ahead and mark this question as answered because there hasn't been any more activity in a while so I assume that you have the information that you need. If you still have a question about this or if you have information that you would like to share with the community, by all means, please do come back and leave a comment.

Yes, it did get resolved by doing nothing! 🙂

Last spring my Python code that used the Canvas API had no trouble creating assignment overrides.

Over the summer that functionality was partially turned off by Canvas. I called many times and spoke to many support staff. My Python code was still valid, but the results of the override would only show up if I actually called Canvas support and had them "reset the user cache"!!!

So, that's what I did last fall to get by.

This spring, needing to do the same kind of overrides as before, I ran my Python code, and it did show up without me having to do anything, as it had been doing last spring.

@downing Any possibility of getting a copy of your python code? I am trying to figure this stuff out, and examples always help.
