How do I delete a background image that my teacher has set for the course? There is no settings tab for individual courses in order for me to change it.

Good morning, @edo101 ...
I assume that you are referring to the images that are displayed on the course cards that appear on your Canvas Dashboard. The images that you see on those course cards cannot be removed by students. Those images are chosen by each of your instructors, and it's completely up to them whether or not they want to use images or not. Sorry that I don't have better news for you.
Hi @edo101 , as a student you can control the color of the overlay, whether there is an overlay at all, and the course nickname but you cannot remove an image that was added to the course card by the instructor.
I hope this helps and best wishes!

You’ve got to click on Editor toolbar. Then find a Backgroung Remover button on the side panel. Wait for the program to process the background image. Click Erase. That is the method that I used when I was working on Canva. Since then I found better tools for cropping images and specifically for editing background. The best one is create.vista.com which I use everyday. It’s simple to use and it’s very quick. Gives me time to do other things.
