Can you change the format of a download to .jpg?

Hello, 

I am an instructor and have been downloading student's submitted images to my computer for use in a slideshow. The students are uploading images from their phones, but when I download them to my computer they are changed to the .pdf format (Not compatible on a slideshow). Is there a setting that I am missing?? I'd like to keep the images the .jpg or .png file type. I realize I can use a converter, but I'm trying to avoid this step.  -Thank you!

@Ebatch,

When you view the file in SpeedGrader, make sure you are clicking the correct download button. The one on the left will download a PDF, while the one on the right downloads the submitted file format.

How can the students download their images that they uploaded as jpegs? We're trying to use what they uploaded as jpegs but it keeps turning them into pdf's. They can not access photos they uploaded to download for projects.
