Is it possible to have a checkbox with lectures so you can check the box after viewing the lecture. 

It would help when you have a long list of material to cover.

Hi there,

It sounds like you are a student.  If so it's really possible to do.  But there is a way that instructors can set up a functionality like this by using Requirements within Modules.  Here a link that you might choose to share with the instructor How do I add requirements to a module? .  It doesn't show directly in that guide, but one of the options when setting up requirements is "Mark as done".  This literally puts a box at the top of the page for student to click and indicate they have finished.  It also shows in Modules view so at a glance you can see what you have completed.
