Complications with creating new courses from a SIS

Hi all,

I am trying set up new courses with students enrolled in sections with all of their teachers. Eg a Year 3 course that has multiple classes each enrolled in a section with their class teacher (English, Maths, inquiry) and their specialist teachers (PE, Art, Music, etc). We set our courses up from our SIS and this is where we start to run into problems, we don’t have a group in the SIS that reflects what I want the section enrolment to be. In the SIS student section are grouped by subject with the appropriate teacher. Adding the the complexity is that we would eventually like to write data back to the SIS, and this will be a challenge using this combined group.

Any suggestions welcomed.
