Does Canvas have the ability to hide the Course Status block? I created nice headers and the image is now compressed due to the Course Status box on the right? Note this is with the new UI.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

@gailc , Could you provide a screenshot of what you are talking about so I have a better idea exactly what you are asking?
You would have to accomplish this through CSS and/or JS. It would involve hiding the entirety of that right side (which for students has some important features like Calendar, upcoming assignments, etc.) and expanding the main content area in the middle there.
Have you tried looking at the page in student view (Settings -->Student View) to see if it's acceptable from the student perspective? A student is not going to see those buttons that you are seeing since they are Teacher/Admin specific.
Thanks for taking a look Mark. I agree important information can be found on the right side. In the student view it appears as a to do list, again important though it would be nice to have the ability to collapse the status block allowing for more real estate on the page and more control over content added.
Thanks again Mark!!
