Hello @tony_mcconnell , not sure if this addresses everything but we ran into some issues when we were learning how Turnitin worked with Canvas versus our previous LMS. We have a fair amount of instructors that do not allow late work so they use the "until" dates in Canvas. Turnitin sees that as like a lock the information time so when those were the same date/time as the due date, students never got feedback and when it was a few days after the due date, they got to see feedback for a a short time and then it went away.
What we have instructors do that still do not allow late work is the put the "until" date in so that it locks the assignment so no late work can be submitted and then a day or so later, they remove the until date in Canvas and that opens it up so students can access their Turnitin score and feedback. We also had many instructors switch to having everything in the Manual posting policy so that they had complete control of when grades got released to the students.
How do I use posting policies in a course?
Hopefully this helps at least with some of that!
