Currently, we have disabled the option to add a dashboard course card image. Our concerns are:
- Necessity. As a school heavily invested in accessibility, we've opted to leave it off because we don't see the value add or option to provide alt text
- Image copyright issues (when not using Unsplash)
- Appropriateness of images and options to report questionable image choice
With the feature option enforcement for this coming in January we are trying to come up with a plan and alleviate these concerns. We have considered working with our marketing team to create images specifically for this purpose for each discipline and making only those images available to our faculty for course cards or even automating the process through the SIS, if possible. Does anyone else have these same concerns or have done anything similar with a image library?
