DocViewer failing to load on some assignments

Periodically DocViewer will not load in SpeedGrader for Google Doc submissions that allows for annotated feedback (comments, highlighting, etc.). This doesn't seem to fail when students submit PDF documents, and will inconsistently load for Google Doc assignments. I can't seem to figure out why certain Google Doc submissions do not allow me to give annotated feedback?
